About LoanBud INCLoanBud INC is a rapidly expanding fintech focused on providing innovative financing solutions to small businesses. Our mission is to streamline access to capital through SBA and other small business loans, empowering entrepreneurs to flourish in today's competitive market.
Role OverviewThe Director of Strategic Partnerships will lead our efforts to build and manage relationships with key lenders and referral partners. This role will focus on developing strategies to foster partnerships that drive business growth and strengthen our presence in the SBA lending space. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams, represent LoanBud at industry events, and play a critical role in expanding our business through innovative and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Partnership Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for building and maintaining strong relationships with both lender and referral partners.
- Lender Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with key lenders, negotiate agreements, and ensure ongoing collaboration to maximize deal flow and value.
- Referral Partner Development: Build and grow partnerships with referral partners (e.g., business brokers, CPAs, financial advisors), create referral programs, and provide support and resources to partners.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment on partnership goals and lead-generation efforts.
- Drive Business Growth: Set and achieve partnership-driven revenue and growth targets, explore new markets, and track partnership performance.
- Monitor Industry Trends: Stay informed on market developments and industry shifts to adjust partnership strategies as needed.
- Reporting and Analytics: Track and report on key partnership metrics, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Represent LoanBud at Industry Events: Attend conferences and networking events to build relationships and promote LoanBud's partnership offerings.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field (required).
- 5-10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances within financial services or commercial finance. Experience with SBA loans is a strong plus. Proven ability to build and manage successful partnerships with lenders and referral partners.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with experience in developing and executing partnership strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Leadership experience, capable of managing cross-functional teams and projects.
- Familiarity with SBA lending, commercial finance, and the key players in these sectors.
The position is office-based in New York City, embracing our collaborative and interactive company culture.
Compensation & Benefits- $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience + performance-based bonus.
