Your Role at Premier Construction & Design:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and evaluate RFPs and bidding processes, including the selection and solicitation of subcontractors;
  • Manage the estimation process across various phases, including pre-development, development, and design/build projects;
  • Participate in site walkthroughs;
  • Develop and manage requests for information;
  • Create and oversee project budgets, including handling change requests;
  • Negotiate client contracts and subcontract agreements, ensuring thorough scope reviews;
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget;
  • Lead project teams, including Superintendents and Project Engineers;
  • Effectively manage client expectations and contractual commitments;
  • Facilitate productive meetings with project teams and clients;
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during projects;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of MEP, civil, concrete, structural steel, carpentry, and finishing trades.
  • Proficient in on-screen takeoff and Microsoft Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Project.
  • Ability to estimate and perform take-offs for projects.
  • Preferred experience with Procore software.
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
