The primary objective of this role is to oversee and manage multiple crew leaders concurrently in all facets of construction at Blue Collar Recruiter of Marietta, focusing on solar photovoltaic systems, ductless heating solutions, generators, battery backup systems, electrical retrofitting, and other energy-efficient home systems. This position entails planning and coordinating the efforts of foremen and crew members under your guidance, motivating them to execute their tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently. You will also engage in the planning, installation, and commissioning of the aforementioned systems as required. Additionally, this role will support the Director of Operations in daily responsibilities, including managing crew duties, performance, and team morale. Technical oversight of all project details will be a key component of this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate project updates with company leadership and project managers.
  • Establish and uphold quality standards across all project sites.
  • Demonstrate leadership by implementing and enforcing company safety protocols.
  • Exemplify leadership by adhering to and promoting company policies and procedures.
  • Lead by example, providing effective coaching, feedback, and performance management.
  • Ensure comprehensive job documentation is completed upon project completion.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges, review photovoltaic system designs, and suggest value engineering improvements as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering as necessary.
  • Perform all tasks associated with the Lead Installer role.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to exert significant physical force, occasionally lifting over 100 pounds, regularly lifting over 50 pounds, and frequently lifting over 20 pounds. Capability to work on steep surfaces and at elevated heights is essential.
