Assistant Store Supervisor

Oversees a retail unit, emphasizing the delivery of a seamless and enjoyable customer journey. Aids in the management and direction of all personnel and operational activities, ensuring the smooth execution of all production and retail functions, including order fulfillment, logistics, and quality assurance. Acts as the store leader in the absence of the Store Manager. The Assistant Store Supervisor is expected to carry out all tasks typically performed by team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Exhibits consultative behaviors to guarantee courteous, knowledgeable service is provided to all patrons.
- Assesses the effectiveness and productivity of team members in fostering positive customer interactions.
- When necessary, addresses customer grievances and disputes to ensure prompt resolution and satisfaction.
- Fosters a customer-centric atmosphere throughout the store (production, retail, self-service, and logistics) and ensures a tidy and professional environment.
- Implements and oversees a system for managing customer flow in the store to enhance service delivery, ensuring customer needs are promptly met and quality products are provided.
- Facilitates training and development of team members during assigned shifts by tracking objectives and offering constructive feedback.
- Conducts interviews for potential hires, adheres to all company recruitment policies, and assists the Store Manager in the onboarding of new team members.
- Mentors, advises, and provides performance feedback to team members to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
- Maintains communication with the Store Lead Consultant and/or production team to ensure deadlines are achieved and quality assessments are conducted.
- Supervises shipping-related services and operations.
- Responsible for communicating with the Store Manager and team members regarding daily/weekly/monthly objectives, performance metrics, customer concerns, and company initiatives.
- Adheres to and enforces established company policies and procedures, maintaining a controlled environment.
- Assists the Store Manager in payroll review and daily financial reconciliations.
- Performs additional administrative tasks as required, including but not limited to scheduling, payroll oversight, training compliance, financial reconciliations, inventory management, and procurement.
- Undertakes all other duties as necessary or requested.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of relevant experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Must meet all employment qualifications in effect at the time of hiring.
- Ability to remain standing for the duration of the shift, excluding breaks.
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 55 pounds.
- Consistent ability to bend and twist at the waist and knees.
- Effective communication skills with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to collaborate and follow instructions in a team-oriented environment.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting, managing substantial pressure.
- Ability to maintain focus and concentration over extended periods.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Regular attendance and adherence to established business hours are essential to support company operations.
COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY: This salary range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay for this role across various locations. If this opportunity encompasses multiple job levels, the salary information reflects the minimum and maximum for those levels. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, market conditions, and other job-related factors. Employees may be eligible for additional compensation, premiums, or bonuses.
