Job Overview

Position: Materials Handler

In this collaborative position, the Materials Handler will engage with team members to ensure the safe and efficient management of materials within the organization, thereby supporting the mission and vision of MaineGeneral Health.

Role Highlights:

MaineGeneral Health is on the lookout for a dedicated Materials Handler to enhance our expanding Supply Chain team. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a vital role in our comprehensive Supply Chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify orders and cross-check items to ensure accurate deliveries. Deliver requested materials or communicate any issues affecting delivery to the relevant personnel. Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders regarding inventory status, supply availability, and product identification. Manage documentation related to distributed inventory. Maintain workspaces, storage areas, and equipment in an orderly, clean, and safe manner.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations. Strong punctuality and commitment to teamwork. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week
