UX Design Manager

Salary:
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $92,000 - $130,500 USD. In addition to base salary, employees participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced UX Design Manager to lead user experience for a portfolio of products and features. As a key member of our UX team, you'll coordinate work alongside product-trios, ensuring the right problems are identified to meet business goals and user needs. Your leadership and guidance will help ensure designers connect with each other and partner teams, making data-informed decisions. You'll also shape our team culture, product design reviews, and how designers level up within the discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, trends, emerging platforms, and design/UX best practices.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, contextual analysis, and other design artifacts.
- Guide designers on low, medium, and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
- Incorporate accessibility into your work, including 508 compliance and WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Provide meaningful feedback on designer work.
- Manage the design team's capacity and resources for efficient product design processes.
- Mentor and guide product designers for skill progression and growth.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions are feasible and meet user needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience managing small product design teams in an international context.
- 5+ years of experience with industry-leading tools like Figma, FigJam, Miro, and Adobe Suite.
- 5+ years of experience in digital product design, user experience, information architecture, interaction design, and/or visual design.
- Strong understanding of visual design, information hierarchy, typography, and color theory.
