About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Project Manager to join our team at the PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT. This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from water utilities and wastewater systems to fish hatchery improvements and shoreline stabilization projects.

As a Design Project Manager, you will be responsible for designing and managing projects from feasibility to construction, including scoping, planning, design, and project management. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage projects from feasibility to construction
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure project success
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including state agencies, local governments, and private landowners
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
