Job Responsibilities

This pivotal role within the Talent Acquisition Team is essential for managing the recruitment process from start to finish. The Coordinator will utilize best practices in human resources and innovative strategies to ensure effective talent acquisition.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition, this position is tasked with overseeing daily operations related to talent acquisition and position management for all full-time and part-time roles at the College. The Coordinator will serve as the primary recruiter for all Salary Grade D level and above positions, and will assist with the recruitment of executive-level roles as directed.

The primary focus will be on managing the complete recruitment cycle, ensuring that staffing needs are met while attracting top talent to our community. This role requires a detail-oriented approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Key Objectives

  • Ensure the college's staffing and workforce planning needs are met with a long-term talent strategy.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to establish clear expectations for candidates and interviewers.
  • Maintain operational excellence for both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
  • 3 to 4 years of professional experience in a related role.
  • 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience in high-volume customer service environments.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and full-cycle recruiting.
  • Strong technological skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring diplomatic communication and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • PHR/SPHR Certification.
  • Experience in higher education HR practices.
  • Experience in job classification and evaluations.
  • Commitment to the institution's mission and values.

Compensation

The starting salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
