Business Development Manager

**Drive Business Growth**
As a Business Manager at Acosta, you will be responsible for increasing sales and market share of the brands we represent in a defined marketing area. Your primary goal will be to earn a profit for our manufacturers and Acosta while working with major consumer brands (CPG).
**Key Responsibilities**
We provide our clients and customers with the tools needed to deliver solutions and achieve their goals through merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelf positioning. These initiatives result in maximizing market share.
**Your Key Tasks**
• Coordinate clients' market visits and key account calls to ensure effective communication and delivery of in-store presence and business objectives.
• Communicate clients' priorities to Retail Sales Organization to deliver business objectives.
• Manage and participate in the development, design, and presentation of Acosta's introduction to new clients.
• Provide feedback on the effectiveness of our clients' strategies, selling programs, and initiatives.
• Maintain current account distribution information to ensure accurate data.
**Requirements**
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• A proven track-record in sales, preferably with a food broker or national company.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.
• Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.
• Willing to travel.
