Job Overview

At Autodesk, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Development Partner to join our Sales Finance team. This role requires a strong background in finance, accounting, and business development, with excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work on strategic planning as well as day-to-day financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales leaders to drive business growth and achieve financial objectives
  • Manage and forecast financial metrics, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions
  • Present business reviews and planning to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in
  • Lead target-setting and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial data
  • Analyze sales forecasting impact, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for named accounts, providing financial guidance and support
  • Establish relationships with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving business outcomes
  • Drive process improvement and automation, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or accounting
  • 8+ years of finance experience, with a strong background in business development
  • 5+ years supporting high-tech sales organizations, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Team player with global team experience, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork
  • CPA or MBA desired, with experience with Anaplan, Salesforce, and Power BI a plus
