Position Overview:

As a key member of the Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing sustainability reporting initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Finance department's efforts in the creation and execution of sustainability reporting by establishing and enforcing robust internal controls for sustainability data.
  • Assisting the corporate sustainability team in the design, execution, and ongoing management of a comprehensive sustainability data system across the organization.
  • Working collaboratively with various departments to formulate, implement, and monitor policies, processes, and internal controls that ensure compliance with relevant regulations and uphold the integrity of publicly disclosed sustainability data.
  • Contributing to the preparation and evaluation of public sustainability reports, including essential filings.
  • Engaging with both internal and external audit teams to facilitate effective oversight of sustainability reporting and to ensure successful external assurance processes.
  • Staying informed about emerging regulations, industry trends, and reporting frameworks, while providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on sustainability data assurance and controls.
  • Delivering training and educational sessions to internal stakeholders to enhance their understanding of sustainability data assurance and controls.
Essential Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration (or equivalent) with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in a public accounting environment; a Master's degree in a related field with 7 years of experience; or a Doctoral degree in a relevant field with 4 years of experience.

A comprehensive understanding of financial reporting and internal controls, with the ability to distill complex internal control requirements into clear communication for operational management.

A strong global business perspective, capable of navigating a dynamic, cross-functional, and matrixed organization.

A quick learner who can seamlessly adapt to the organizational culture and earn the trust of corporate and operational leaders.

Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple projects concurrently.

Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills, capable of analyzing complex issues and developing actionable plans.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
