Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

Role Summary:

The Clinical Dietitian PRN will execute essential nutrition care functions in accordance with established policies, including nutrition screening, assessments, care plan development, order writing, and ongoing monitoring of patients at nutritional risk.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and respect.
  • Ethics and Compliance: Uphold compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Age-Related Competencies: Provide tailored nutrition care for all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • Analytical Skills: Gather and analyze data to inform patient care decisions and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication: Convey information clearly and courteously to patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Education and Credentials:

  • Must obtain a Licensed Dietician credential within 90 days of employment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Commission Dietetic Registration or ADA Registered Dietitian credential must be secured within 90 days of employment.
