Position Overview: Clinical Dietitian - Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation
Hours: PRN - Projecting approximately 10 hours/week, with the potential for additional hours

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of Cardiopulmonary programs and growth strategies aimed at increasing client volumes and market share for nutrition services.
- Ensure the highest standards of clinical care and operational efficiency, integrating programs within the Bon Secours system.
- Utilize the nutritional care process to screen, assess, plan, and deliver nutritional care and education to the patient populations served. Develop and implement community nutritional education initiatives as necessary, targeting specific markets.
- Provide nutritional care to patients in compliance with hospital, CMS, and The Joint Commission standards and regulations.
- Graduate of a four-year accredited program in Clinical Nutrition or Dietetics with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Completion of an internship approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Registered Dietitian eligible.
- Preferred additional training and/or experience in Cardiac Nutrition and Wellness.
- 1-2 years of experience in outpatient nutrition or a Master's degree preferred.
- Develop and oversee nutrition programs in alignment with client relationships and satisfaction for nutrition care.
- Engage in marketing efforts for individual and regional initiatives, coordinating collateral development from a clinical perspective as needed.
- Provide and supervise nutrition care for clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Manage and promote food and nutrition programs while developing educational resources according to Bon Secours standards and policies.
- Oversee education and outreach efforts to various organizations and community partners regarding nutrition-related issues and information to support program growth.
- Deliver nutrition care/Medical Nutrition Therapy for physician-referred patients, including screening, assessment, intervention, and follow-up care to meet patient nutrition needs and satisfaction levels. Document and submit charges through the electronic medical records system as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Bon Secours/client policies and procedures.
- Participate in marketing initiatives directed at local physicians regarding counseling opportunities and sports performance at Bon Secours locations.
- Facilitate the assessment, counseling, education, and development of individualized plans for patients with diet and weight-related concerns, including weight management and nutrition for optimal cardiac health.
