Job Title: Senior Principal RF Design Engineer

Join RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, in a challenging and rewarding role as a Senior Principal RF Design Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced RF systems and components for our cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RF systems and components, including transmitters, receivers, and exciters.
  • Architect and integrate RF systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement RF design solutions.
  • Conduct hands-on testing and validation of RF components and systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in RF design and development, with a strong background in RF system theory and design.
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools, such as HFSS, ADS, and CST.
  • Strong understanding of RF system design principles, including cascade analysis and frequency planning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with filter design and fabrication, circuit card assembly and fabrication, and high-speed data converter test and characterization.
  • Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
