Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our Radar Systems Department, you will be responsible for developing and deploying solutions to manage and analyze complex system engineering data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop architecture, algorithms, and requirements SysML models to support Sensor Product Line (SPL) Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Model complex radar algorithms and other technical direction using SysML
  • Support System Engineering team to capture and resolve complex technical systems engineering issues using MBSE techniques
  • Interface with System Engineers to understand their MBSE tooling needs to improve accuracy and productivity of System engineering products

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • 2 years of experience with System Engineering Product Development Cycle or related product cycle
  • Strong SysML or related modeling experience
  • Basic Radar understanding
  • Secret Clearance
