Job Overview

The Account Manager role at SMC Corporation of America presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Promote SMC's products and services to existing and new customers, with a focus on increasing market share and driving revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within strategic target accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities, develop targeted strategies, and implement effective sales plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SMC's product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity, applying this expertise to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in the industrial automation sector, preferably with a focus on pneumatic technology.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pneumatic components and their applications, as well as comprehensive understanding of SMC's product lines.
  • Proficient in the use of CRM software and other relevant tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
