Human Resources Consultant

About the Role
Helios HR is seeking a Human Resources Management Consultant to support our clients in delivering exceptional HR services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing HR operations, implementing HR programs, and providing guidance on sensitive matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trust-based relationships with clients to provide guidance on complex HR issues.
- Stay up-to-date on compliance updates and strategic matters, ensuring alignment with client culture and business priorities.
- Identify and communicate difficult messages to clients, seeking guidance when necessary.
- Work collaboratively to build consensus and deliver high-quality results.
- Participate in client presentations and lead discussions on HR-related topics.
- Initiate difficult conversations with peers and clients, providing timely and direct feedback to improve working relationships.
- Inform engagement leads of complex employee relations issues and propose solutions.
- Develop and execute project plans according to defined scope of work.
- Set client priorities with limited support and guidance from senior consultants.
- Alert engagement leads of potential scope creep and identify possible solutions.
- Contribute to business development discussions with new and existing clients.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling with existing clients and initiate discussions.
- Contribute to the development of technical proposals in areas of specialty.
- Encourage thought leadership through attending events and writing articles.
- Process payroll and perform other HR-related tasks.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years' experience in Human Resources.
- Bachelor's degree and/or professional certification required.
- Broad and advanced generalist skills in HR, with the ability to apply knowledge to complex situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with all levels of employees and management.
Certifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CPP preferred.
Travel Requirements
- This position may require local travel for client engagements.
