Job Title: Senior Relationship Manager - Commercial Real Estate

Job Summary:

Bank of America's Commercial Real Estate Team is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of clients and lead a client service team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate project lending and institutional financing, with a strong background in sales, marketing, and leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships, and leading a team of key members in analysis and execution of client strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and lead a client service team
  • Prospect new business and enhance existing relationships
  • Lead a team of key members in analysis and execution of client strategies
  • Prepare for and conduct relevant conversations with CEOs and CFOs at an advisory level
  • Assess risks and impacts from both the client's and the bank's perspective

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate project lending and institutional financing
  • Demonstrated sales, marketing, and leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with underwriting partners, portfolio manager partners, relationship administrators, Credit Risk Manager, support staff, and other associates
  • Credit underwriting skills, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of financial accounting and commercial loan underwriting
  • Relationship between credit risk, structure, and pricing
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & 63 (must obtain within 180 days of start date)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
  • MBA or equivalent experience
