Job Title: Sous Chef

About the Role:

The Sous Chef will play a key role in the success of our culinary team at Meadowood Resort LLC. As a senior member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Forum restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional food and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train a team of cooks and stewards to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Monitor food safety procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the Front-of-House team to ensure seamless service and high guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional cooking experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Upscale Mexican cuisine background preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and regulations.
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
