Your Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and execution of the Membership Marketing Strategy, emphasizing growth, retention, cross-selling/upselling, product enhancement, and upgrade initiatives to draw in new visitors.
  • Oversee the daily operations and internal communications related to the annual promotional strategy, ensuring alignment with the marketing objectives. This includes drafting and disseminating promotion and event summary documents.
  • Investigate new offerings and evaluate their alignment with guest preferences.
  • Analyze and track data associated with various ticket categories and their distribution, including discounted tickets, varying discount levels, membership fees, and discount rates.
  • Recommend modifications to strategies and tactics as necessary to meet financial objectives.
  • Identify, secure, and manage partnerships/promotions to broaden media outreach and frequency, supporting the annual media investment.
  • Implement revenue-generating events for the Aquarium.
  • Serve as the primary contact for corporate sponsors, ensuring fulfillment of contractual obligations and delivering value.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the departmental budget and resources allocated to marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive analyses bi-annually (including product offerings, pricing, new market entrants, and overall market conditions).
  • Assist in pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations of promotions and special events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm innovative marketing concepts (e.g., content, programs, etc.).
  • Contribute to the development and programming of special events (e.g., Shark Summer, Mermaids, etc.).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a promotions and/or membership capacity; experience in attractions, museums, sports, music, or related fields is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of brand strategy, guest satisfaction, product management, and new product development; familiarity with ticket mix and ticket management is preferred.
  • Practical experience in the creation, management, and execution of special events is preferred.
  • Highly driven, results-oriented, and a creative thinker.
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining clear and proactive communication.
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities and ensures a seamless workflow.
  • Strong communication abilities, including the capacity to build and sustain positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, handling situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to realize creative visions with a good aesthetic sense and provide direction and feedback. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, etc.) is preferred.
  • Ability to engage effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job type.
  • Willingness to accommodate flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Salary Range: $42,000 - $45,500
