Role Overview

The School Wellness Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering health and safety within the educational environment. This position is responsible for delivering health services to students, faculty, and staff, ensuring that everyone achieves and maintains optimal health while promoting positive health practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide essential healthcare services to students experiencing injuries or acute illnesses.
  • Maintain accurate vaccination records and follow up with families as necessary.
  • Update and manage students' medical histories and documentation.
  • Ensure a safe school environment by preventing the spread of communicable diseases.
  • Adhere to national and local health regulations.
  • Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are encouraged to pursue their Registered Nurse (RN) degree, with tuition reimbursement available.
