Position Overview

As an intern at FORVIS, you will acquire essential experience that may assist you in determining your career path in audit or tax, or even if public accounting aligns with your aspirations. You will engage in client projects akin to those assigned to our entry-level associates, gaining insights into diverse industries while honing your technical skills. Collaborating with our senior staff and management, you will learn from their expertise as you enhance your capabilities.

Internships are available in audit, tax, or a blend of both, tailored to local office requirements, and can be part-time or full-time.

Your Contributions:

  • Managing general ledger and processing accounts payable
  • Sales and payroll tax reporting
  • Conducting account/bank reconciliations and preparing depreciation schedules
  • Assisting with monthly and year-end closing processes
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Engaging in on-site or digital accounting outsourcing
  • Providing QuickBooks consulting and aiding in accounting system design
  • Supporting the training of clients, staff, and other OAS personnel
