Position Overview

  • Act as the primary contact for escalated inquiries and service recovery efforts.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and ensure smooth workflow processes.
  • Accurately verify and enter patient details in a timely manner.
  • Provide Good Faith Estimates and confirm insurance eligibility.
  • Discuss payment options with patients and facilitate payment collection.
  • Engage in process enhancement initiatives and community outreach programs.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector is essential; familiarity with Epic systems is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical in approach.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and adept in call center protocols.

Certifications

  • Certification as a Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift and carry items.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
