Job Overview

The Beverage Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of the bar while also coordinating events and optimizing revenue opportunities.

This role includes acting as the Manager on Duty at the bar and nurturing relationships with established VIP clientele.

Key Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in hospitality or a related sector.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.
  • Quick and accurate evaluation of alternative courses of action.
  • Capability to perform well in high-pressure situations.
  • Maintain composure and objectivity under stress.
  • Proficient in identifying, preventing, and resolving workplace issues.
  • Understanding of financial data and basic arithmetic functions.
  • Effective listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems and company-approved software.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Engage with guests and staff in a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented manner.
  • Ensure regular attendance in line with company standards, adapting to hotel needs.
  • Uphold high standards of personal grooming and uniform compliance.
  • Adhere to all safety and operational regulations.
  • Maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor at all times.
  • Familiarize oneself with hotel organization and departmental functions.
  • Train Food and Beverage/Banquet staff according to company standards.
  • Address all guest requests, complaints, and incidents promptly.
  • Motivate, coach, and manage F&B personnel in accordance with company policies.
  • Review staff hours for payroll and submit timely reports.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and conduct training sessions.
  • Assist in the hiring process for F&B staff following company protocols.
  • Prepare employee schedules based on business forecasts and budget guidelines.
  • Ensure timely completion of wage progress and productivity reports.
  • Conduct performance appraisals for staff as required.
  • Implement company policies and house rules effectively.
  • Assist in the development and execution of promotional ideas for Food and Beverage.
  • Maintain beverage costs within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with training standards set by the company.
  • Manage purchase orders and invoice processing accurately.
  • Promote sales initiatives, including upselling programs.
  • Maintain Aimbridge Hospitality's service standards across all departments.
  • Participate in required Manager on Duty coverage as scheduled.
  • Generate necessary F&B-related reports in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist in Food and Beverage forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Ensure staff are consistently attentive, friendly, and courteous.
  • Conduct quarterly inventory evaluations and plan purchases accordingly.
  • Adhere to credit policies and respond to market trends effectively.
  • Organize and lead monthly department meetings and daily briefings.
  • Manage beverage purchasing and conduct monthly inventories.
  • Maintain quality and presentation standards for all food products.
  • Foster open communication with all team members and departments.
  • Utilize the hotel's P.O.S. system for report generation and analysis.
  • Oversee banquet operations and maintain key control systems.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of cash overages and shortages.
  • Support emergency procedures in collaboration with management.
  • Maintain organized documentation for purchases and reports.
  • Complete all correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Engage in monthly all-employee meetings and other management functions.
  • Encourage positive communication between Food & Beverage and Food Production teams.
  • Manage P.O.S. changes as necessary.
  • Handle Lost and Found items according to established standards.
  • Review food sales for accuracy on a daily basis.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Compensation

Minimum: USD $56,150.00/Yr.
Mid: USD $60,454.83/Yr.
Maximum: USD $72,545.80/Yr.
