Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and execute business growth strategies, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Establish and Maintain Business Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and other industry professionals.
  • Business Development and Capture: Develop and execute business development and capture strategies, including market research, competitor analysis, and proposal development.
  • Proposal Development and Management: Develop and manage proposals for new business opportunities, including writing, editing, and reviewing proposal content.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, including regular communication, issue resolution, and client satisfaction.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Sales Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress in CRM systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in the proposal and business capture environment, with a strong background in sales and business development.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to lead and drive capture and generate revenue, high energy level and excitement about the pursuit and having an impact, multitasking and attention to detail, goal-oriented and highly motivated, results-driven, time management and planning skills, strong grammar and proofreading skills.
