Rebate Operations Manager

Position: Rebate Operations Manager
We are looking for a skilled rebate operations professional to oversee the daily functions of a comprehensive rebate management team. The ideal candidate will support the Director of Rebate in client engagement and system enhancements. A successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing operations across ten (10) Government Health Services pharmacy client teams that provide rebate management solutions to state Medicaid clients, ensuring compliant and precise billing and collection of substantial funds annually.
- Fostering relationships across client service teams to guarantee adherence to CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services) regulations and Conduent's financial standards while aligning rebate service development priorities.
- Managing the development, growth, and quality of rebate personnel, ensuring service delivery that enhances program resilience and depth.
- Providing expertise in CMS rebate matters and staying informed on federal regulations and market trends.
- Maintaining a robust professional network and representing the organization at industry conferences.
- Regularly meeting with clients through phone or in-person interactions, engaging with drug manufacturers, managing client relationships, and liaising with pharmaceutical companies on behalf of state Medicaid programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with relevant experience in reporting.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing a drug rebate program in either the public or private sector.
- Experience in resolving Medicaid drug rebate disputes between state entities and pharmaceutical companies.
- Ability to understand quantitative and qualitative analysis methods for accurate assessments.
- 3-5 years of experience in staff management with a proven track record of overseeing various organizational levels.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of Drams is a plus.
