About the Role

Cottage Lane Health and Rehab is seeking a skilled and compassionate Restorative Care Specialist to join our team. As a Restorative Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist with Mobility and Transfers: Help patients move safely and comfortably, using equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers, as needed.
  • Assist with Medication Management: Assist patients with taking their medications, as directed by the nursing staff.
  • Assist with Range of Motion and Exercise: Help patients maintain their range of motion and engage in exercises to maintain their strength and flexibility.
  • Assist with Skin Care and Wound Management: Help patients maintain good skin health, including turning and repositioning patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
  • Assist with Nutrition and Hydration: Help patients with mealtime, including feeding, cutting food, and assisting with hydration.
  • Document Patient Care: Accurately document patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and any changes in patient condition.
Requirements
  • Education: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Must have experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent.
  • Skills: Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Certifications: Must be certified as a CNA or equivalent, and maintain current certification.
