What does a Property Restoration Specialist do?

As a key responder to property damage incidents, you will assist in mitigating losses in both residential and commercial environments.

Brief Overview:


The Property Restoration Specialist acts as a first responder in property loss scenarios, helping to minimize damage in various structures.

Responsibilities include water damage mitigation, structural security, on-site cleaning, microbial remediation, content management, and more.


Key Responsibilities:
Water extraction and mitigation

Fire and smoke damage restoration

Microbial remediation

Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean-up

Demolition tasks

Supervision of field personnel

Delivering exceptional customer service

Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Valid driver's license

Successful completion of a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report

Passing a pre-employment drug screening

Availability for on-call duties 24/7

Preferred: 1 year of experience in restoration or maintenance

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Occasional travel may be required (less than 25% of the time), including some out-of-area and overnight travel for training or meetings.

COMPENSATION:


BluSky offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15 to $25, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a matching 401(k) plan, health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, and necessary equipment for the role.
