Lead IT Project Strategist / Infrastructure Management
Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Lead IT Project Strategist and oversee substantial, multi-year, multi-million dollar Control Center infrastructure, IT network, and applications integration projects, including cyber security initiatives, from initiation to completion within an enterprise-level energy utility context.

This role involves providing strategic recommendations for a comprehensive roadmap to achieve program goals and project objectives, as well as establishing project expectations, methodologies, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.

This is a long-term consulting position with a strong likelihood of ongoing employment. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence one day per week.

The compensation for this position ranges from $78.00 per hour, commensurate with relevant qualifications and experience, along with a tailored compensation package.


Key Qualifications:


A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is essential.

With the requisite Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is mandatory.

Experience should encompass project management of IT software and data center infrastructure projects, as well as applications integration projects, utilizing industry-standard methodologies and tools for managing schedules, dependencies, resources, funding, and crafting technical specifications and project plans for medium to large-scale initiatives.


Additional Notes:
Level 3 typically handles medium to large projects (with lifecycle costs of $25M and above).
10 years of IT-related professional experience is required.
Proven experience in IT project and program management within an Information Technology environment is necessary.

Advanced proficiency in MS Project is required, including a thorough understanding of its operations, functions, and workflows concerning timelines, dependencies, project expectations, milestones, and resource allocation.

Ability to manage IT software, network infrastructure, cyber security, and applications integration projects in alignment with established project management principles.

Extensive experience supporting the full lifecycle of projects through the IT Systems Development Lifecycle (10 years of project experience required; exclude Service Desk or O&M experience).

Demonstrated ability to gather information from stakeholders, document, and communicate effectively, including through Project Plans, Functional & Technical Specifications, Schedules, Resource Plans, Budgets, and Presentations.

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential to advance assigned projects within a large agency environment with numerous stakeholders.
