Epic Senior Analyst Resolute Patient Billing Position

Job Summary:
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a highly skilled Epic Senior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Resolute Patient Billing team, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the implementation, build, and modification of the application, as well as collaborating with stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application's configuration, function, and access.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, build, and modification of the Resolute Patient Billing application
- Collaborate with stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application's configuration, function, and access
- Support junior staff members in day-to-day operations and resolving application issues
- Serve as a primary support contact for application end-users
- Initiate the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application
- Perform the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow
- Initiate the identification of issues and guides the work to resolve them
- Support junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, identification and implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and execution of day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies
- Work with stakeholders, the business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs
- Participate in on-call rotations and support and attend and participate in applicable committees
- Maintain regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings
- Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership
- Remains knowledgeable about UHealth's policies, procedures, and business operations
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Epic certificate in Resolute Professional Billing Administration including Single Billing Office is required and Resolute Professional Billing Claims and Remittance Administration, or Resolute Hospital Professional Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts Administration is also required
- Minimum 3 years of Epic build experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in hospital revenue cycle management
- Previous operational, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
- Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others
