Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation, build, and modification of the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing application
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application's configuration, function, and access
- Support junior staff members in day-to-day operations and resolving application issues
- Initiate the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application
- Perform the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validate the impacts to the workflow
- Identify and resolve issues, and guide the work to resolve them
- Support junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, identification and implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and execution of day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies
- Work with stakeholders, the business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs
- Participate in on-call rotations and support and attend and participate in, applicable committees
- Maintain regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings
- Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership
- Remain knowledgeable about UHealth's policies, procedures, and business operations
- Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Epic certificate in Resolute Hospital Billing Administration, including Single Billing Office, Resolute Hospital Billing Claims and Remittance Administration, or Resolute Hospital Billing Charging, or Resolute Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts Administration
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle management
- 3-5 years of Epic build experience
- Previous operational, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
- Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others
