About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Senior Analyst, Lab Information Systems to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our Information Technology Department, you will play a critical role in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our laboratory information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application's configuration, function, and access.
  • Initiate the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of applications assigned to the laboratory team, including Epic.
  • Perform analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validate the impacts to the workflow.
  • Support junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, identification and implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and execution of day-to-day operations.
  • Work with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Epics Beaker (CP) Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; 5 years preferably in healthcare or healthcare-related organization.
  • Ability to travel to the job site during go-lives, conferences, rounding, and/or senior leadership meetings.
  • Ability to analyze and solve a variety of problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
