About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Systems Analyst to join our team at Mount Sinai Medical Center. As an Operating Room Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery: Provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all communications and deliverables.
  • Service Management: Monitor and resolve HEAT tickets in a timely and efficient manner, documenting activities thoroughly.
  • Workflow Analysis: Collaborate with senior team members to analyze and design workflows, facilitating adoption of new processes.
  • Testing: Participate in system testing events, executing scripts and documenting errors or deficiencies.
  • Upgrades/Optimizations: Provide support to department/end users during system upgrades and optimization activities.
  • Projects and New System Implementations: Execute assigned tasks under the supervision of senior team members/management.
  • Issue Resolution: Utilize system knowledge and resources to address routine issues.
  • Leadership: Participate in departmental and customer team meetings, providing input and acting as a team resource.
  • Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date application knowledge for assigned applications/process areas.
  • Downtime Processes: Participate in testing of downtime processes, executing test scripts and working with end users.
  • Training: Participate in discussions related to training content development and provide support to formal training classes.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience with Epic preferred.
  • Relevant application certification desired: Optime and Anesthesia.
  • Operating Room Support with solid OpTime and Anesthesia build experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
