As an Oncology Care Navigator RN at Providence, you will play a vital role in serving patients with cancer by providing them with information, education, and support throughout their care continuum. With a strong focus on patient-centered care, you will empower patients to participate in their personal care process, improve their understanding of treatment plans, and ensure they receive the necessary resources to complete their care.

Compensation

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $45.22 - $71.58 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Job Description

The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) serves as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of cancer care, knowledgeable on multiple treatment decisions and financial impact. This RN will triage physical, psychological, and social needs, offering intervention and/or referrals as needed. Primary goals include enabling patients with information and education, empowering them to participate in their personal care process, improving understanding of decisions and treatment plans, and completing care through survivorship planning.

Responsibilities:
  1. Enable patients with information and education to reduce stress involved in a cancer diagnosis.
  2. Empower patients to participate in their personal care process.
  3. Improve understanding of treatment plans.
  4. Complete care through survivorship planning (when applicable).
