About the Role

The Oncology Nurse Lead position at Providence Portland Medical Center is an exceptional opportunity for experienced caregivers to utilize their leadership skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities

- Provide direction and guidance to nursing staff on oncology-related procedures, medications, and best practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans that meet individual patient needs
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes that enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
- Foster open communication among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

- 1 year of experience in oncology nursing, with demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong understanding of cancer treatments, medications, and related therapies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
