Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Sales Coordinator to join our team at Sun Communities, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling routine sales office work and administrative responsibilities for a specified district of manufactured housing communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and establish rapport with guests, current and prospective residents, and provide them with information regarding the districted communities as requested.
  • Marketing Support: Assist with the preparation of marketing materials, including brochures and flyers, that pertain to homes for sale, community events, and other related materials as directed.
  • Prospect Management: Assist prospective residents by checking the status of Sun Homes inventory, reviewing new and pre-owned home listings, showing homes to prospective residents, and assisting with rental applications at the manager's discretion.
  • Lead Generation: Refer all sales prospects to the District Sales Supervisor, complete prospect cards, and enter them into the Yardi system in a timely manner.
  • Underwriting Coordination: Coordinate with the Underwriting department to obtain approvals on prospective resident applicants, track all approvals and denials.
  • Administrative Support: Review and code invoices and statements for manager's approval, handle and resolve resident/customer routine questions and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • General Administration: Perform general administrative functions, such as answering phones, typing, copying, faxing, filing, and other duties as assigned.
  • Office Management: Ensure office supplies are sufficiently stocked and prepare supply orders as needed.
  • Communication: Forward Sun Homes customer service requests to the manager in a timely fashion, prepare and print communications, such as lease agreements, addendums to lease agreements, and notices to vacate as necessary.
  • Event Planning: Assist with planning and coordinating resident relation events and activities within the specified district of communities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records and files in accordance with the Operations Manual.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Complete new move-in incentive requests for non-Sun Homes deals and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years administrative experience
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good problem-solving skills, professional appearance, and intermediate to advanced computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet, and provide data entry in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience using Yardi and prior sales or leasing office experience.
