RN - CMC Emergency Services - Part Time - 12 Hour - Nights

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Services department, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care and managing the entire spectrum of care for patients receiving conscious sedation, including nerve blocks and cardioversion.
- Triage and stabilization of critically ill patients, including acute stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and respiratory distress.
- Managing precipitous deliveries and caring for the mother and newborn post-delivery.
- Functioning competently in the flow and resource roles, and assuming the role of a relief charge nurse.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least one year of experience in acute care nursing.
- 2000 hours of experience in emergency nursing, obtained within the last three years.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Ability to pass an approved cardiac rhythm test and achieve competency in the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale.
This is a part-time position working 12 hour night shifts. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Compensation:The hourly rate for this position is $99.73. Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
