We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients receiving conscious sedation, including nerve blocks and cardioversion.
- Triage patients and manage precipitous deliveries and care for mothers and newborns post-delivery.
- Stabilize critically ill patients prior to disposition, including acute stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and respiratory distress.
- Function competently in the flow and resource roles and assume the role of a relief charge nurse.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- 1 year of experience in Acute Care Nursing.
- 2000 hours of experience in Emergency Nursing within the last 3 years.
- RN Registered Nursing licensure in California.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification.
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification or ENPC Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course certification.
- Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test certification.
- NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale competency.
This is a part-time position working 12 hour night shifts.
