Position: Senior Project Engineer for Advanced Programs

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full Time / Long Term Contract

Overview:

The TPE331 Turboprop Project Engineering team is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to assist in the creation and dissemination of technical publications, ensuring compliance with our Airworthiness organization and supporting various TPE331 initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for drafting documents for engine maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, inspection/repair manuals, service bulletins, and other technical documentation to support the ongoing airworthiness of TPE331 engine models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to plan, implement revisions, and lead activities related to TPE331 Technical Publications until completion.
  • Engage with FAA-ODA, Customer and Product Support, Repair and Overhaul, and other Engineering departments as necessary to ensure technical precision.
  • Prioritize existing publications and forecast upcoming manual revisions.
  • Provide updated schedules and monitor progress to ensure tasks remain on track and within budget.
  • Communicate status updates to internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, certification authorities, and various levels of management regarding specific technical publication documents.

  • Oversee cost and budget management, including estimate development and project planning.
  • Develop technical requirements and ensure project performance and execution.
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
  • Interface with vendors and manage technical requirements.
  • Present project plans and updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, technology, or mathematics from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience in the design, development, manufacturing, or testing of gas turbine engines or similarly complex mechanical systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with gas turbine engine maintenance procedures.
  • Knowledge of the TPE331 turboprop engine is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively prioritizing tasks and resources.
  • Proven capability to manage customer relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
  • Skill in addressing complex challenges and leading teams toward resolution.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
