POSITION SUMMARY

Wood PLC is seeking a Project Controls Supervisor to oversee and direct the project control functions, encompassing cost estimation, budget management, and scheduling oversight.

This is a full-time role, operating Monday through Friday, with a standard 40-hour work week.

We are looking to fill multiple openings.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

Telecommuting is allowed for 2 days each week.

Some domestic travel may be necessary, up to 15%.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the overall progress and status of projects, ensuring effective management to meet quality, timeline, and budgetary requirements;
  • Conduct timely budget control and forecasting, ensuring that all change requests are accurately evaluated and integrated into budgets and schedules as necessary;
  • Lead the project controls team, managing workload, performance, and professional development;
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to team members;
  • Report on project status and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline, accompanied by 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in relevant roles.

Among the required experience, candidates must possess 7 years in the following areas:
  • Experience in project controls roles, including supervisory responsibilities over cost controllers and planners/schedulers;
  • Proficiency in analyzing and forecasting data using project control tools and systems such as Oracle, Primavera P6, and Excel;
  • Application of project management principles and methodologies, including Earned Value Management, Risk Management, Scope Management, and Change Management;
  • Expertise in managing contracts, cost control, budgeting, estimating, change control, scheduling, risk analysis, and planning;
  • Experience in engineering, procurement, and construction execution.
Additionally, candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with EcoSys.
