As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a defined territory and building strong relationships with existing and new customers in the industrial, power, oil & gas, chemical, water, and wastewater markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our inside sales team to develop strategic approaches for sales at key customers
  • Collaborate with our engineering and procurement divisions to review specifications, interpret customer needs, and prepare quotations
  • Maintain strong relationships with key manufacturers and vendors to achieve product quotas
  • Analyze customer requirements and engage in consultative selling to provide value-added services and products
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries
  • Complete work order forms for order entry and invoicing
  • Communicate cancellations or changes in sales orders to relevant personnel
  • Review purchase orders to ensure customer technical needs are met
  • Perform proactive sales inquiries to stimulate new sales activity with inactive customers

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of industrial mechanical and rotating equipment
  • Excellent selling and communication skills
  • Engineering degree or related mechanical or technical sales and problem-solving experience
  • Great attitude and work ethic
