POSITION: Account Sales Executive
DEPARTMENT: Sales
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
The Account Sales Executive is responsible for independently managing and growing an account base, achieving growth and gross margin projections through individual and team sales efforts. This role requires developing, recommending, and implementing action plans to attain profit plans, maximize employee talents, and achieve exceptional customer and employee satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Promote sales of BCS related projects and contracts (30%): Develop and implement sales strategic plans to take advantage of sales opportunities within assigned areas or markets. Lead team sales efforts with key accounts, participate in sales teams to provide best total solutions to customers, conduct customer needs assessments, and provide quality system and service solutions designed to meet specific customer objectives.
- Prepare proposals and bids for projects and contracts (20%): Develop sales proposals, specifications, estimates, and presentations. Oversee preparation of formal submittals containing schematics, descriptions, and technical information for use and approval by owner's representatives. Prepare quotes for new projects or services, negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements, and follow up on bids.
- Build and maintain customer, prospect, and other relationships (30%): Develop and maintain strong business relationships with building owners to obtain a sales advantage over competitors. Identify and maintain prospect lists, participate in civic and professional organizations to network and build relationships, and work with service operations teams, finance, legal, and other internal functions to follow through on sold jobs to ensure adequate completion and high customer satisfaction.
- Work in conjunction with sales teams to coordinate sales and business development activities (20%): Participate in sales team meetings, share opportunities and information with relevant team members, collaborate with sales teams to understand and promote other company products and services, and recommend process improvements as identified.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in engineering systems or a related field.
- Minimum two years in technical product sales.

- Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and HVAC concepts and operations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Mathematical abilities to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to build rapport and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to assess urgency of situation and prioritize tasks.
- Organized with an attention to detail.
