Alaant Workforce Solutions is seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead the expansion of our calibration solutions in the Houston market. With over 50 years of experience in the calibration space, our client has established a strong presence in over 140 countries and is now looking to grow its presence in the Houston area.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving new sales growth and cultivating existing business relationships. This role involves managing all aspects of sales and sales support to maximize market share, building and maintaining strong connections with individual and corporate clients, and consistently engaging with customers to close deals at various levels of complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase market share in the Houston market for calibration solutions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical solutions and software within the calibration space to market and sell to prospective customers.
  • Utilize CRM to maintain customer accounts, manage contracts, and track leads.
  • Present to prospective clients and staff at all levels of the organization, providing updates, presentations, and educational and training meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in manufacturing, automation, or technical calibration.
  • Must have solutions sales experience.
  • Experience in a hunter role as this role is 90% hunting and 10% farmer.
  • Experience in a technical sales role with a robust rolodex is a plus.

  • $100,000-$120,000/year base, plus commission.
