Position Overview
United Fire Equipment Company is in search of a committed and skilled individual for the position of Customer Service/Scheduler Associate. This role serves as the initial point of contact for both prospective and current clients, playing a crucial role in our dedication to providing outstanding service. The perfect candidate will have a strong passion for customer satisfaction and a drive to foster a loyal clientele.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Responding promptly to phone calls and email inquiries to ascertain the required products or services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Welcoming and assisting customers at the front desk with a courteous and professional attitude.
- Accurately processing sales transactions.
- Collaborating with the service department to coordinate and schedule fire safety inspections.
- Maintaining an organized calendar and ensuring effective communication with service technicians and clients.
- Preparing customer quotes and invoices.
- Informing and promoting all products and services offered by United Fire Equipment Company.
- Keeping the showroom clean, organized, and presentable.

Work Schedule
The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Type
This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
- A high school diploma.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- A minimum of two years of experience in customer service, scheduling, or retail.
- Familiarity with computer systems, particularly Google and Microsoft products, as well as CRM platforms.
- Experience in scheduling is a plus.
- The ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
- The physical capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and sit, including the ability to balance and climb a ladder up to 10 feet.
