We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Smithfield Foods. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide administrative support and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to routine inquiries and requests from employees and management.
- Process HR documentation, including I-9 compliance, and maintain accurate records.
- Schedule meetings and training sessions, and prepare correspondence as needed.
- Monitor facility time and attendance, and initiate corrective action as required.
- Assist with orientation and exit interviews, and compile feedback for improvement.
- Perform special assignments and projects as required, and serve as a visible business partner on the production floor.
- Assist with HR-related compliance audits, including SMETA/SWA.
- High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and requirements.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Previous Workday/HCM system experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual preferred.
