Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at the Institute for Women's Policy Research. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our organization, including recruitment, talent management, benefits administration, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives
  • Recruit, interview, and hire top talent for open positions
  • Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration
  • Provide HR guidance and support to employees, supervisors, and leadership
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
  • Conduct performance management and talent development initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement organizational development initiatives
  • Manage HR systems, including HRIS and timekeeping
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 1-3 years of professional HR experience
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
