HR Business Partner

As a People Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting Human Resources initiatives across multiple areas, including job postings, recruiting, pre-employment screening, associate orientation and relations, compliance, new hire and other HR documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Store Management to develop initiatives that improve employee engagement and drive annual employee engagement survey participation.
- Partner with General Managers and Store Leadership to address systemic issues impacting employee relations and organizational culture.
- Work with our training team and COE team to co-facilitate key HR initiative training, including leadership effectiveness, employee relations, compliance, values, and more.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, grievances, and conflicts.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and unbiased resolutions.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and facilitate mediation and conflict resolution.
- Monitor the status of associates on leaves of absence, including workers compensation, and facilitate their return to work.
- Conduct store visits in assigned market.
- Serve as a resource for the implementation of all corporate/region-sponsored HR initiatives.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Participate in store employee appreciation and community events.
- Must meet company's requirements for employment.
- Minimum 2 years HR-related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred.
- In-depth understanding of HR processes and related regulations.
- Previous experience addressing and resolving associate relations issues.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
- Well-organized, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of MS office software, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams, and Workday.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
