Position Overview:
As the Event Service Supervisor, you will lead the banquet team in delivering exceptional service during events, ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO) to confirm accuracy of all details.
  • Inspect room setups to ensure compliance with BEO specifications and maintain cleanliness in public areas.
  • Engage with group representatives to establish communication protocols during events.
  • Relay any changes in BEOs to the catering office and relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with banquet staff regarding setups, modifications, and scheduling for all events.
  • Act as a banquet server, responsible for setup, guest interaction, and event breakdown.
  • Conduct inspections of banquet areas post-event to ensure all equipment is returned and spaces are clean.
  • Compile and submit banquet checks to Night Audit at the end of each day.
  • Familiarize yourself with the menu for each event, including key ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for work.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a hotel setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to management and guests.
  • Understanding of hotel operations, including marketing strategies, safety protocols, personnel management, and budget planning.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to various audiences.
