Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and engage all guests upon arrival.
  • Collaborate with the Event Manager or designated staff for specific instructions regarding event details and service assignments.
  • Deliver menu items to guests in a timely and courteous manner, adhering to the established service protocols.
  • Clear the event space post-function, ensuring all items are returned to their designated storage areas.
  • Accurately take and fulfill food and beverage orders.
  • Prepare and restock beverages, including coffee and tea, and set up necessary condiments.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the service area, including managing glassware and silverware.
  • Implement cleanliness practices throughout service, ensuring all areas are organized and well-maintained.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the event layout, including seating arrangements and room capacity.
  • Understand and anticipate guest service requirements.
  • Coordinate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Address guest concerns promptly, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
  • Reset work areas and tables according to company standards.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Stay informed about scheduled events and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in event service or restaurant settings is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Valid TABC Certification and Food Handler's Certification are required.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences is essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
