Position Title: Event Service Supervisor - Part-Time

Compensation: Competitive pay at $22.00 per hour

Job Summary: The Event Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing catering staff schedules to ensure all events are executed smoothly and efficiently. This role involves preparing and serving food at designated functions under the guidance of the Catering Director. The supervisor may also be required to transport food and beverages to event locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess workload requirements based on catering orders.
  • Collaborate with event leaders to finalize setup arrangements and address any last-minute changes.
  • Engage with clients to resolve any service-related issues in a professional manner.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings.
  • Guide staff on performance expectations for catered events.
  • Assist in setting up venues according to specified requirements.
  • Deliver food and supplies to designated locations.
  • Serve food and beverages to attendees.
  • Return leftover food, beverages, and serving equipment to the catering facility.
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of food temperatures, adhering to HACCP standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all equipment and supplies.
  • Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality food preparation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license may be necessary.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit as required by state regulations.
